Religious Research Data
MissionInsite from time to time is asked about the availability of recent religious data. ARDA (The Association of Religion and Data Archives) is well known for providing such information at the county level. It is the most current source of religious data available. Using the MI System—Churches Part of a Denominational Agency Agreement
Some churches are MI System users as part of a regional or national denominational agency. The process of registering and accessing the system is defined by that relationship. These resources will assist such users in getting started.

Guides in the Use of Congregant Plot
Please check with your regional body's MissionInsite contact person, called the "Agency Administrator", to be certain that your church has been granted access rights to use congregant plot. You must also confirm that the "Agency Administrator" has designated one registered user from your church as your "Church Administrator". Only your "Church Administrator" may upload and retrieve congregant plot data (names, addresses, etc.) for reasons of confidentiality. All registered users from your local church may plot and view your congregants on the map.
For congregant data upload instructions, data options and how to create your congregant data Excel file, please log in to the "New System" and view the congregant plot videos located on the "Help" menu in the upper left hand corner of your map screen. In addition, there are detailed upload instructions and the essential Excel congregant data template file located on the "Tools" menu in the upper left hand corner of your map screen. Choose Congregants>Import Congregants to view this information.
